I absolutely hate the word "thing". Like, serious, what value does that work have? It adds nothing to a conversation and should be erased from the dictionary.

Outland is a fantastic book that I really enjoyed. I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

Book 2 of Dmitry Glukhovsky's Metro series left a lot to be desired. I found the whole thing flat and lifeless.
